Why this farm exists

We started with damaged ground.

Former timberland had been stripped, compacted, and left without the root structure healthy pasture needs.

In 2020, we began with three calves and a deliberate choice: select animals that fit this land, move them thoughtfully, let pasture rest, and build soil rather than continue extracting from it.

“We farm to heal, not just extract.”
